Qorporal Quests

Qorporal Quests consists of a series of multimedia installations in which Maria Korporal questions global digital development in the times of war and climate change. One of the key questions is: How would we interpret digital signs if we were locked in a bunker without electricity and the internet? In these works, the artist tries to find solutions for this paradox, employing various combinations of analog and digital techniques – from charcoal drawings and flipbook animations to virtual reality and augmented reality – and, at the same time, encourages reflection on the phenomenon.
