The first Zweiart project has been presented in April 2006 in the historical
Roman gallery Al Ferro di Cavallo. Besides the collective installation Interface,
which formed the center piece of the exhibition, the two artists showed a series
of works which were created individually, but expressly for the occasion.
These works are now presented in café-bookshop
Le Sorgenti, in the center of Bolsena:
bronze and paper objects by Marina Buening, video and digital images by
Maria Korporal. The collective theme lies in the concept “interface” ,
interpretated as the process or the method of connecting two units,
in this case the world of Ancient Rome and the way in which we experience this
world today, between historical reality and imagination.
